SS Lesson For 10 to 12 years old for 7/15/07

This Is going to be my Sunday school lesson for tomorrow July 15, 2007 for the kiddos so I am going to write this how I teach it to the kids. The lesson for today id going to be on Proverbs 15 vs 28 &29. 28 The heart of the righteous studieth to answer but the mouth of the wicked poureth out evil things. 29 The Lord is far from the wicked: but hr heareth the prayer of the righteous. Have you ever had a friend who was in trouble or just troubled with something in their life. They ask you for some advise or just open up their heart to you. They tell you what has been bothering them. What do you do? The bible says as we just read the heart of the righteous studieth to answer. If you can answer without studying that either means you have studied their situation before or you know what they are talking about. If you don't know then get to studying the Bible so you can help your friend. The first part of the verse says the righteous. First you better be right with God which means you better be prayed up, confess any unconfessed sin so it won't be in your heart, & be right with God not to be in sin. Make sure you can help them don't be mean. You can be straight forward and tell them how it is just don't be mean. Verse 29 says the Lord is far from the wicked don't be in sin don't be doing bad stuff like disobeying your parents or teachers or like being mean, saying bad words all kinds of bad stuff what we call sin. Sin separates you from God you don't want to be far away from God do you? Verse 29 also says your prayer will be heard. You want your prayers heard right. The Bible says But he heareth the prayer of the righteous again the bible talks about the righteous He will hear your prayer if you are right with Him. In closing Are you close to Him or are you in sin. Do you know are you saved Have you ever trusted on Him to be your personal Saviour. Now is the Time don't wait If you are saved are you right with him. That will be the lesson on Sunday School for the kids.

Spoiled

Blue cake and green frosting is what David requested tell me that is not spoiled. By the way it was not his birthday. Some crazy lady has a birthday get together every time she sees David and she brings him presents. Now when it was Mikey's birthday he got mad because he didn't get a cake and we didn't sing to him.

Rescue Heros

One time in band camp J/K One time we went to Louisiana and my son was playing with my friends sons rescue heroes I never saw him play so intense with any toys. So when I got back I tried to find some here in Texas we found one on clearance at wal-mart, but we couldn't find none even at the pawn shop we looked online on eBay but they wanted to sell the whole set and plus shipping I didn't have the money to buy some toys so we continued to look for then. I think my wife mentioned it to my friends wife and what do you know next thing I know when I came home for lunch I found all these toys everywhere and my David sitting in the middle of toys. I can say my friends wife Melinda really spoils him. I mean really spoils him. I can honestly say he plays with them daily I kid you not. I brought him some helmets the other day those helmets they sell for 25 cents I don't know if they sell them anymore. David puts them on his toys and has his own football team. My father in law always sends them toys he send David this big Porsche and what do you know 2 rescue heroes fit in it. So he goes crazy with that. Thanks to the Yanez Family. Thanks Guys or should I say little John.

VBS 2007

Vacation Bible School @ Grace Independent Baptist Church 2007, Things went smooth that week it was tiring but it was worth it. This is my class I was averaging about ten kids we had about 30 or more each day. As I was teaching my lesson I was surprised that the kids were so into the story of Peter. I thank God for all the helpers from the kitchen to taking care of the kids outside during play time. Lord has blessed our church when we do something @ church people actually show up. Of course more people show up when we have a fellowship.

Sunday, July 8, 2007

4Th of July was terrible this year @ the beginning of the night it was bad. It got better @ the end of the night. I had the day off that day it was pretty cool, because I rarely have days off to sleep in late. Well 8 AM is late I guess. I took the boys to buy fireworks I had johnny all week I want to thank my wife for taking care of him while I was @ work. Before church I was sitting on my couch when Bro J called & said He was early to church he got his times mixed up he got there @ 6 pm & church was @ 7 pm he lost that hour of his life poor Bro J. We were having a fellowship after church it is what Baptist really know what to do fellowship & EAT. Church was over but the rain was coming down, & I had to put the GAS pit which belongs to the Preacher under his carport. Well everything that could go wrong did but I didn't get mad OK maybe a little. The GAS grill had a low flame like if it was out of gas, but it wasn't so the grill didn't work. Then Sis Kim said I have a George Foreman grill we can use, because we were making burgers, hot dogs, chicken breast as my Bro John would say Hooters Baby, and some fajitas that Sis Sharon brought so I could make. Well the Foreman grill wouldn't turn on it was not working so she & my wife just decide to grill them on pans they came out good anyway. They boiled the hot dogs & grilled the chicken I brought and I gave back the fajitas cause I couldn't grill them. I send My bro in law to buy some self ignite charcoal but he brought regular charcoal with no lighter fluid. So forget that people started leaving because it was still raining. Bro J bailed on me too way to go man leave a bro hanging. He said he was going somewhere where the pit worked. When the people ate they left and of course it was just us and the preacher left behind with our families oh and Dale & his family stayed we had a blast though popping fireworks. We ended up leaving church about 11:30 pm still had to go drop of my nephew Toby then to the house I had to work the next day. Before J left I was telling him a story about fire, buy the way he is terrified of lighting what is it with these Yanez that they are scaredy cats j said at least I ain't afraid of roaches or tarantulas something like that WHATEVER do you mean J. We used to live out in the country when i was younger we were poor folk you here. We had an outhouse yuk and when we would throw the trash we would throw it in a big hole in the ground that my dad and uncles dug up the it would get filled and they would cover It up and dig another one. This is where I got started to make fire, because if you threw the trash you had to burn it. I would play with fire and gasoline not a good combination. The fire was going I poured out a bowl of Gasoline on it as i leaned forward to look into the hole where the fire was at my eyebrows were gone my forehead looked like I had been scalped. I started crying like a baby jumping around went inside to tell my mom first she spanked me of course for playing with gas. then she put manteca all over my face. Manteca is Lard for those that don't speak in Spanish. Thank the Lord I was not seriously burned. I hate to say it , but I got burned maybe 3 or 4 more times in my life burning trash. One time my cousin Javy was outside during a cookout and he had a cup of gas. He was dipping a stick into it and burning the tip my uncle saw him but didn't say anything(they were all drinking). He did this for a while until he dipped his stick in the gas, but his stick was still on fire my cuz was like 7 or 8 I was about 11 or 12 @ the time, we looked @ each in shock not knowing what to do. Yes he did he kicked the cup over and we had fire it was dark but it looked like day @ that moment. My Dad & uncles freaked out jumping everywhere thought something had exploded, they ran got the water hose and didn't work duh they started covering it with dirt that put it out my Cousin got beat I ran inside and felt sleepy all of a sudden. My uncle told my dad it was Javy if not I would have gotten A beating also. I also burned down the woods in back of my Grandma's house but I will tell you that story next time. Laters
