New Years Eve

I had to work today, but it is cool, it was really slow. Even the phones were quiet. Some GE customers were upset, but it made the day go a little faster. Why is it Fridays take for ever the day just seems to drag forever, then 5 pm comes. Then you dread the Monday yuk. Extra coffee to get going. Going to church tonight, looking forward to some preaching & praying. I need it. Feel like I get so far away from Jesus sometimes, but HE knows how to get our attention.

Shopping

Well today I got out of work @ a regular time about 5 pm. I was suppose to go play racquetball with a friend, but he punked out had to spend time with his wife things like that, pfffft. So I called the Law told her I wanted to spend time with her, so I was going to ditch my friend, j/k. I knew she wanted me to see a dress she wanted to but, so I told her we were going shopping for clothe for the company Christmas Party. We went shopping for about 3 hrs, oh...my....goodness seemed like forever, I didn't mind it till I got tired of looking at stuff that is not for me, even I don't shop for me. Unless it is @ Sears, which I did. Well I did I was even out there, with the LAWS purse, can you believe it. It was good I got to see my wife buying stuff for herself which she rarely does, she always try to talk her self out of stuff she needs. The dress was excellent on her , but she went with something else.

Busy

I have been really busy lately, & haven't had time to blog so much things in my head , I can't remember what i was going to blog about.I want to blog about everything , but right now I am just praying for another vehicle. You might know what I want 1500, Chevy crew cab, 4x4, z-71 or HD, but it has to be 01 or newer model. It is what I want, don't need a truck. I do need another vehicle though, & I have some money saved up , & I believe God will Give me what I need, & can afford. I have never gotten a vehicle that I can say i wanted to get, & got. I always get what is there, & I can afford it. I have been so close to my wife lately, it feels so good. I guess it has been all the prayer,, after preacher preached a message on prayer it has really stuck to me. At work they tell me just to get the truck I want,just do it. But I cant, I don't operate like that, I have to really pray about it. I feel guilty sometimes for wanting a truck, I feel like I am doing to much & not letting Jesus do his part. I don't know, I know I don't deserve it. But once in a while I would like to get something I want. Just pray for me please. If I can't find the truck for me I will get a car for my wife. I just have to do something , because the longer I wait the more money I spend off the money for a car.

Debbie also got me these tools, they are not craftsman, but I still use them. I have a toolbox just for these tools. They have the stubby wrenches on this set, they are pretty cool. It is alot of tools.

My Birthday

My 32nd birthday came & went like the wind no biggie. The Reyes family got me a couple of gifts, & a cake. This was on Thanksgiving day. Then on Monday the 26th, we went to eat dinner @ Rudy's, mmmmmm, it was so good. My wife called me to eat lunch for my birthday, but I wanted dinner, so I chose Rudy's, why because they don't sing happy birthday there, he he. We had a blast there with My wife, Pastor, Mrs Kim, & Jay. Then afterward went to the Cantu resident, where I picked up a strawberry cheescake mmmm, she also gave me these awsome brownies, they were sooo sooo good.

Boo Boo

Well Sunday after church fellowship ended in the emergency room. We were wrapping everything up sunday night getting ready to go home, when Luke comes up to me to tell me Daivd is hurt. So I go check it out , & what do you know David has a knot on the back of his head it was about the size of a golf ball. I carried him to Dee Dee so she could check it out , but we had to take him to the emergency room. It took forever there there was a guy who they brought next to my wife in a wheelchair he was a prisoner somewhere, but was all messed up like they beat him up or something. Any way David fell backwards from the skateboard, he was riding the skateboard with Luke when he tripped, & down went both of them. Boys being boys. I heard Luke felt really bad, he called , & left a message checking up on David. It was an accident, & David will still follow these boys around like crazy, he loves them alot, he is always talking about them, & Laura too. Well as we are in the waiting room to get released, we start laughing at all the splints that are there, & that Mike has worn just about all of them. Oh and one thing before I forget, I ask David if I could take a picture of his boo boo like he says, who know where he got that from? Well anyway I take a couple of pictures, & David ask me if he can see them so I show it to him, & he starts cying, & touching his head it was so funny. He remembered he had a bump, only when he would see the pictures. They gave him medice, & relesed him. As I was blogging this David sees it, & starts touching his head lol, he tells me his bump still hurts. He asks,"will people pray for me if they see this picture?" I told him they would so pray for him lol. I had another picture on here, but I don't know where it went.lol.

ZAPCAR

We went to the mall on saturday after visitation, & saw this car, truck, motorcycle, whatever it is. I had to get a picture. I can just see someone pulling up in a drivethru to order with this thing.

Tex

We went to the Thrift store in pharr on Saturday, & while we were there looking around, Mike came up with this dog. He said, "look I found Tex", it was so funny we were laughing so hard. I just had to take a picture.

Tough

Today we went on visitation with our church, we set up everyone, & it sprinkled a little , but it went away. The first house I went to was weird. As I am walking to the front door the wooden door is open, but the glass screen door is closed, & I see a little boy about the same age as David sucking his thumb, & get this he had a lion under his arm, so did David it was so funny. The man came to the door, & took the John & Romans Bible said he would give it to the people of the house. Then he looks @ David , & tells the little boy, "look he has a lion like you" man it was funny. Then the next house over a lady answered the door, she listen to what I had to say, then she tells me she don't need it, I wanted to yell @ her tell her she did need it. I told her,"OK ma'am, but can I leave this scriptures with you" she tells me she doesn't need it. So then I tell her OK thank you for your time. Man it broke my heart, sometimes I would rather them just tell me no, & I wouldn't waste my time , but I pray to Jesus a seed was planted. The other thing that really broke my heart was when David asked me, "Why don't people want to hear about Jesus?" Man that was tough. I looked @ him & told him some people are lost, & don't know what Jesus did for them, that is why we need to be in church & tell people about Jesus." Then he asks,"Why are people lost & don't go to church?" Man it felt like the questions were getting tougher. Then I started explaining to him how we are all lost without Jesus in our hearts, asking him to save us from hell. Then he looks @ me & says," Come on Daddy lets go tell more people about Jesus". Then we get to next house I thought the questions were going to keep coming , but he saw a cat and started growling @ it, so that stopped all the questions for the day. Man it was pretty hard, to keep going thinking about that lady that listened, then changed her mind @ the end of the conversation. But we must keep going for Jesus, it is not us they are rejecting, they don't even know who they are rejecting. Till next blog.

Breakfast

Yesterday, I went to my sons' parental involvement breakfast, I had a little peek into his world, @ school. He kinda reminded me of me when he was saying hi to his friends. They would tell him, "Hi Micheal", he would look at them & say hi, but it looked like he meant whatever. he he. I do that sometimes, it is not that I am being rude I just don't think about what I am doing. Okay i might not care sometimes, he he. We went to his cafeteria, I was afraid I would walk into a dear friend of a friend, & not know what to say, but anyway thats beside the point. He is growing up to fast, he thinks he is so cool, but i have to knock him down, off his high horse j/k. I hope he is not like anyone when i am not around. My wife had to go with David, We had to pick our favorite kid j/k they both wanted us to go with them , but they were at the same time. Our boys are growing up so fast. Jr High wow, many moons ago i was in Jr high. Johnny is almost on his way out of Jr high to high school, scary.

Halloween Night 07

Halloween night we went to church of course, Then we went to eat dinner at the Cantu Residence. We had beef enchiladas & rice, it was soooo good. We also had desert; chocolate cake, lemon cake, & my favorite strawberry cheesecake. First of all I thought Bro. Tim was in costume, but he wasn't he was his uniform from work. Then Gilbert & the rest of the gang was playing pictionary. Preacher was all into the deserts, he loves sweets. J came over later to eat desert with milk, he looks like a little kid. He also brought a McRib, because the Mcrib is back baby. Then "stomach hurts" later. That's how we spend the rest of the evening, then went home.

Grace Softball All-Stars

We had some fellowship on Saturday it turned out to be so much fun. We played softball after eating of course. Maybe we can do it again sometime. We need church felllowship, we need to stick together I know we have our seperate lives, but it just feels so good when you can get together with a bunch of christian friends, brothers & sisters in christ. Four of the young boys got saved on the next day it was so awsome, that they wanted to get saved. It is wierd how people believe in heaven, but don't want to believe in hell. Just want to say I love my church. Thank you Lord for sending us the Laiklams, they have been such a blessing to me & my family. We love you guys. Ok thats enough I dont want anyone to think I am being a softy, he he.

MIA

My knife was MIA for a couple of months. I thought they had stole it from my desk, I would always lend it out to the warehouse when they needed to cut open a box. I usually get something from them a watch, wallet, or keys, anything of value to them that way they can remember to give it back. I was given this knife, I want to say about 3 years ago, by my best friend John awww, he always saw I had box cutter from the dollar store when I was delivering appliances. Then one Christmas he gave me this knife, it was the best knife EVER, because it was a craftsman baby. It has sentimental value man,(did that sound kinda gay sorry) I have replaced it about twice, because it is a craftsman, they do that kind of stuff for free, whenever it breaks just take it back. I love sears its my favorite store next to home depot. So I apologized to my warehouseman who I thought had lost it, he forgave me of course, because then I would give him a couple of days off, j/k. He said it was cool. So, I FOUND IT! thats the line from The Land Before Time he he. That's my story, & I am sticking with it.

Fords Grrrr

Today was a pretty good day, I was changing my wifes kitchen them from sunflowers to apples. I ran into a problem the screws I got in with the order were only for cabinet doors, not for drawers which is a bit thicker, and the screws don"t fit all the way across. So I will get some after I pick up lunch. Well I go to Whatabuger to get lunch while in the drive thru the check engine light goes on, and the van stalls a little bit, but it doesnt turn off. Grrr makes me mad. So we finish luch I take off to get the screws, and head out to Autozone where no one is there to attend of course. They finally get out there to check my van , & tell me its a sensor for $129.00 yikes dumb ford. So I get it, & ask david if he wants a candy, & of course he is a kid says yes I tell him to get one for mike.When I pay it comes out to $229 yikes it turn out I have to
return the core which is the replacment the old one so okay I leave. The sensor is in the air filter housing very easy right WRONG, I have to take out so much to get in there.Well I get in there,& it turns out I need a specialty tool Grrr. So I take off to Sears of course to go get a Craftsman tool. Well they don't carry those any more so off to Autozone again I find the tool and take it off & replace it. Then I cant put it back together Grrrrr. Yes I finally get it, and take of to Autozone to return the core they will give me back $80 some bucks. Well I get there and what do you know after I took the picture of the sensor on top of the van I put it on my porch Grrrr I have to drive back home to go get it Grrrrr. I get into autozone waiting in line @ the register when it is my turn , the cashier tells me I have to get into the line it has a little mice maze lines you know. Grrrr I said ok then get in line, no one @ the computers, some guy named Martin Silva got that named tatooed to my brain Grrr he is on his personel cell phone by the time he gets off the phone I am fuming , but I dont tell him anything just the evil look Grrr. When I get to him @ the computer he sends me to another guy to help me Grrrrrrr. I give him the evil look again I dont even remember the name of the guy who helped me , but he was very nice. I got my money credited back to my account. So I finally get home to finish the cabinets, & the dumd screws didn't fit Grrrr, the good thing is my wife was online looking for a truck for me a Chevy thank you very much. She showed me an Equinox, but I said "No Tray Nada" he he, I said I will pass. So back to work, & clean up the Kitchen Grrrrr , But in all things give thanks right, Till Next time laters Enjoy.
