Where r the men?

This Saturday we went on visitation, & I was upset because there weren't any men there. I walked to the preachers' office to walk it off, and started to pray. The Lord convicted me, so I worked with the next generation. (Amen.) My boys, the preachers boys & my nephew, Toby, were there. I know some men have to work or do have a legitimate excuse, but those that don't go, shame on you. What could be more important than telling people about Jesus? Tell me. Well anyway, that's another blog. The boys did really good, I felt like a hen watching over the chicks. I told the boys to behave before we got off the car. I Told them to remember they represent the church, & most importantly they represent God. Visitation went good, I talked to some people, some sounded interested, but you know how that goes, they don't show up. Don't let that stop you though from visiting. My boys did a good job, I was so proud of them, when I say my boys I mean all of the boys of Grace. They are not ashamed of the Gospel, they are excited to pass out John & Romans. (Amen.) I thank all of you that participate in visitation, Lord will Bless our church for it.

Our boys go on visitation, they canvass, and basically live their life around around the church. They have learned so much. I think this is the way we get more men to do things in the church. Raise them to work in the church, they will work in the church when they are older. Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old he will not depart from it. Pro.22:6 Keep up the good work!

Juan,

God is good. Good men must lead our boys. Keep leading.....our boys need strong men so they understand how to treat women. There is too much abuse happening in our part of the world. Keep leading and educate. Take a look at the work of Mr. De Leon in Harlingen and his Women's crisis center work.
