Gator Anyone?

I wanted to eat something that I could go back home & say I ate something Cajun. So Nana & I went out on a date, he he, just alone time with Nana I consider her like my daughter we had a serious long talk about life an all pretty good talk might I add. So we went to Big Daddy's restaurant had me some Gator on a stick it had some onion between each piece of meat.. As you can see the before & after shots. I have this bug of going to eat something different, seeing to much Travel Channel. Gator has the texture of shrimp or lobster at first but as you eat it it dissolves as fish, pretty good may I add.

Incredible Pizza

We went for vacation for a couple of days to Louisiana to see, & spend time with our friends. They took us to this place called Incredible Pizza which was buffet, not good, I ate so much, he he. It had Go casts a huge video arcade, miniture golf, & go Karts. Also the boys decided to get in on the ice cream eating contest, you had to eat you ice cream with no hands or spoons, it was for a 5 dollar card for the video games, but the lost to the kid with his hands up, hehe. It was so much fun.

Where to eat?

As it has come to a sort of a tradition to take pastor, preachers, missionaries, basically anyone that comes to the valley, he he, gives us an excuse to go to you know where Wallbangers baby. Of course the one who started it all is that man on the left, the one that doesn't gain weight. Here is Bro. Roy Kincaid, & our pastor Bro. Mark Laiklam, probably listening to J, saying, "So where are we going to eat?", he he. Oh yeah we were in Alamo, TX at Cornerstone Baptist Church for the revival. Our church services were being held there, on the way there on the bus, we had a blow out, pretty intense, never a dull moment. But we hopped on our cars, & flew to Alamo, he he.

Revival

This is Bro. Floyd Perry on the left with Bro. Bob Hawk. Bro Floyd is from Granite Falls, North Carolina, he preached a good revival & Bro. Bob Hawk is recovering from cancer he is really doing good. Bro. Bob Hawk Has a son-in -law, Bro. Arnold Woodard which was are interim pastor as we were looking for a pastor to pastor our church.

Remodeling Bathroom & Closet

Here is the old closet space from the restroom, It will become hopefully a linen closet.

Floors will also will be torn down & replaced.

I also will knock out the top portion to make the closet with an extra shelve.
Just a quick post to let you guys know I am alive.

God is still Good

Last night we had some awesome service with Brother Floyd Perry from Granite Falls, North Carolina. He preached on Psalms 1 vs 1 & 2, Blessed is the Man, talk about getting filled with the Spirit. Well afterwards we went with Pastor & Mrs. Kim to Los Asados, where we also had some great fellowship, by the time we got home it was about 10 pm. We were in the living room, well I was, and Dee Dee was on the computer. As I was passing by the dinner table a text on D’s phone came through, & it was no chance that I was passing by and I took a peek, it was my sister in law texting that her husband asked her to pray and she was asking if D could ask me to go over there to pray with them or for them, really mainly for Adam my sister in laws husband. You see he had a basic operation if there is such a thing. Well it turns out it turned worst, & he has an infection on his insides. Secondly you should know that Adam & I just don’t click we never have really gotten along. Well when I saw this text I was like, ahhh, this flesh said don’t go I knew what I had to do, but this flesh is weak, pride kicking in all that ugliness. Then I looked at my wife I know it bothered her the way I was acting, then I just let the Holy Spirit guide me to do this. So I told D, “Let’s go I have to do this”. On the way over there D, starts telling me about how her, & the kids have been praying for him every morning for a while. I just kept praying, “Lord I don’t know what to say Holy Spirit guide me, direct me, be my mouth, be in my heart, help me have compassion he may be lost”. You see Adam made a profession of faith a long while back, but no Spiritual fruit ever came out of it so you start to think did he ever get saved. He never changed the way he is. So we get there and D, tells me she has a knot in her stomach, I look at her “You, How do you think I feel”. I was all nervous. Well then we walk into the apartment he is laying on the couch, literally looked like he was on his death bed really. I ask him what he needs prayer I ask him specifically what he needs. He then goes on to tell me about his infection how it is causing him such pain. Then I look at him and tell him, “Well Adam first things first”. I didn’t know how to approach it but God is so good. So I just asked him, “Adam are you saved” He then gives me this look. Then I dare asked him the Question, “If you died tonight would you go to Heaven?” He then looks at me & tells me, “Honestly Juan I can’t say that I know that I will go to Heaven.” Amen I thought this is my way to lead him to Christ. So then I told him what he needed to do to know without a shadow of doubt, to know that he knows where he is going when he dies. Amen Adam got saved last night. I told him pride aside Brother I am here if you need anything. I prayed with him about his health, his family, his Christian walk as a father, a husband, but most of all as a Christian. Then, yes then after we left we said our goodbyes and parted ways. On the way home there was this tension in the car this overcoming joy, as I thought the angels in heaven are going crazy right know celebrating another for Christ. Then out of no where, “AMEN I yelled my wife started crying, with Joy, Then I started crying, Glory to God HE is so good to us, Glory Amen, I thought of how wretched a sinner I am and HE still loves me, AMEN. Just shouting in the car apologizing to God Confessing to HIM, Just rejoicing in HIM, MY Lord, MY Savior, My God, AMEN, God is still on the throne reigning Amen, And Amen, What a Joy, got home we got on our knees prayed some more, rejoiced some more what a night I say Amen one more time.

Testimony

Well lately I have been miserable due to a bad tooth ache, some may say awe just a tooth ache, but if you haven’t had one so severe it makes you want to cry, & makes your eyes all watery it really hurts. Well I have been like that for the past 2 days, & I pray I have time to go to Mexico to get it out, because I haven’t really been sleeping. When I left work on Wednesday, well trying to leave the alarms from the warehouse were tripped so there I go to go to remove stuff from the path of the laser beams, some doors weren’t locked so when I go to leave I have to go searching thru the warehouse to clear this up. I finally do finish this but before I leave I send an email to my boss asking him to show the head warehouseman how to check the alarms before he leaves I know he used to do it before, but we have a new alarms system so I didn’t know if he knew how, oh yeah I copied the warehouseman on it so he could see what I was talking to the boss about. So he then in the morning emails me, & the boss of course saying, he knows it his responsibility to check the alarms, blah, blah, blah, making excuses saying the other guys come into the warehouse. Letting me know I don’t have to tell the boss, but I have to because I answer to him for what goes on. Well as I was typing a strongly worded email, the boss comes to my office telling me he already sent an email to the warehouseman, to check it. So I did, & he had written back to the warehouseman, & copied me on it, just telling him what I meant short, & simple. It was nothing like ragging on him or nothing like that. Then I erased the e-mail I was going to send, because it wasn’t worth my time, & the hassle of bickering, I just thought of my testimony, & not say a word, just smile when I see him. Then later on he sends me another e-mail like nothing had happened, asking on the work schedule for the next day. Isn’t God wonderful how quick we forget HE is in control of everything.

HELP US

Father in Heaven I am depending upon you to touch people’s hearts and lives, only if they could get a glimpse of glory. Amen Lord help us revive the True Christian, those that think they are saved and just playing church, & don’t even know they are lost. Bring convictions upon the Christian to change their lives, starting with me Father. Lord Help Us. Those that look upon the sin of other while we have not looked upon our lives, just because our sin is not visual, doesn’t mean we don’t sin, help us Father. I have seen, and been those kind of Christian that has just looked upon people, & have lost track of You, while You were there I left You, please father don’t let the Christian do this. Help the Preacher that preach the one true word of God, help them keep on the firing line; help them be the example also. Help me Father be an example. Lord I ask that you help the Christian that has not grown with you, that is content to live that defeated Christian life & they don’t even know it, Help them open their eyes, and examine where they were one year ago, & where they are now if there has not been any change any growth, help us realize this. Lord In Heaven, help the Christian stop living such a rebellious life they know better, but yet chose to still rebel, Lord Jesus open their eye on this, Help Us. Lord Life is so short, what have we done for thee in this year, month, day, help us put us on check, check all of us Lord, seems today the church is no longer on fire for your, but the fire begins with me Lord help me Ignite that fire, Lord help my Christian Brothers & sister start their own fire from within Help us realize that this world is going to hell in a hand basket, and are we helping carry this hand basket, check us oh LORD. Seems today, yes today no one cares for anything having to do with YOU Lord. Start that Fire from within, Need some fire starters need some igniters, Help Us, be those Fire starters, those Igniters. Seems nowadays we live in a care free society where do what you want if it feels good, where has the conviction gone O h Lord have I Lord failed you so bad that the conviction is not there no more, I sure don’t wish to be that stumbling block for no one, LORD if it be me search my heart, let me know why, & how I have caused someone not to grow in Christ Jesus. I have not seen any growth so far LORD, How can I change that LORD I beg YOU help US help ME Lord, I love you I need YOU in my Life, LORD. I think of people off the top off my head that I know can grow, but refuse LORD why, are they waiting for your judgment upon them then they will decide to get close to you. Help Us. Help me be a better testimony in any way Lord, HELP US LORD, Be the Christians WE are suppose to be, HELP US JESUS, HELP US. I am tired Lord I get weary Lord, Give us the strength to go on, I would rather burn out for you Lord, than to fade away with the Devil. Sometime people give the devil so much credit for the things that go wrong in their Lives when they don’t realize it, that the devil has backed off, because they are doing it themselves, to themselves. HELP US Lord Help US. In Jesus precious & HOLY name I pray. Wont you Pray with me, when the man of God is at the pulpit asking you to pray with him at the alter do you go with him to try to reach heaven or do you just sit back, & just sit there, you can pray at your pew, but come on come to the alter help the man of GOD. I got an email today from a preacher friend today asking me to help my pastor to keep his hands up like the people did with Moses, it really touched my heart, so will you help keep the preachers arms up so we can reach Heaven, & God will open the windows of heaven, to pour out blessings with abundance. Amen Amen Amen…..
